North & Tide is a UK outdoor channel that brings together my work as a professional wildlife photographer, my journey as a beginner angler, and my growing role in conservation storytelling.

Fishing is new to me — something I’m learning from the ground up. This channel follows that honest process: choosing tackle, trying techniques, celebrating small wins, and learning from the inevitable mistakes.

After surviving two heart attacks and living with a disability, I’ve had to adapt how I explore the outdoors. Long hikes and remote locations aren’t always possible, so I focus on accessible places, careful planning, and enjoying nature at a pace that works for me.

Alongside fishing and photography, North & Tide now includes my developing conservation work — from volunteering at RSPB Conwy to stepping into my role as a Global Ambassador for Rewilding Africa CIC. My aim is to use storytelling and imagery to highlight the people, wildlife, and landscapes behind conservation, both here in the UK and across Africa.
